BHS 3 Naugatuck HS 22
The fast and clever little team from Naugatuck High School, came to Bridgeport, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 21, and overwhelmed the local players by the score of 23-3. BHS was out-classed by their lighter opponents, and seemed unable to follow the pace set by the visitors.
Limont was the only BHS man whose play was worthy of mention. "Limmy" has been playing a hard, consistent game all season, and his good work at "covering up" his opposing forwards has been a great factor in keeping down the scores of the opposing teams.
Barto, the clever shooting forward of the local team was out of the game on account of sickness and his loss was keenly felt, as he has a good eye for the basket.
Naugatuck has a very fast team, and has a fine system of team work. their players, though small, are most agile and are in the game every moment.
